What tasks can you expect with us?

• Administration, maintenance and optimization of our MariaDB databases
• Ensuring data integrity, availability and security
• Carrying out performance analyses and optimizations
• Implementation of backup and recovery strategies
• Supporting the planning and implementation of database migrations
• Working with developers to optimize database queries and structures
• Monitoring system performance and troubleshooting problems
• Documentation of database architectures and processes
• Automation of database installation and maintenance

What do we want from you?

• Completed studies in computer science, business informatics or a comparable qualification
• Sound knowledge of MariaDB/MySQL and experience in the administration of relational databases
• Experience with SQL and database design
• Knowledge of backup and recovery strategies as well as performance optimization
• Ansible Knowledge
• Linux knowledge
• Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g. Bash, Python) is an advantage
• Ability to work in a team, analytical thinking and a structured way of working
• Good communication skills in German and English
